Well...it is officially here! The first day of Kindergarten. Easton had a few tears last night and a few fears, but we stayed up talking about how much fun he was going to have and he seemed okay. Then I went to wake him up early this morning and he was way nervous and said that he was afraid that it was going to be a bad day. We worked on being positive and Troy and I told him that every kid there was going to be just as nervous as he was. I also said a prayer asking God to take over because I was afraid that I would break down. Sure enough..about 5 minutes later he ran in the living room very excited and ready to go. He said that his stomach had some butterflies, but I told him that mine did, too! We walked him in and he did GREAT! I only shed a couple of tears as I walked out the door. Luckily, Lexi was there to keep me entertained! I can't wait to hear how the whole day went! I will keep you posted!
We went on a family outing to the grocery store so Easton could pick out some special things for his lunch. He is such a picky eater that he only chose peanut butter and crackers, a nutrigrain bar, a yogurt, a York peppermint patty and a Gatorade. What a combination!
Lexi had to pick out something for her lunch, too. She had to show off her juice boxes.

Easton went and woke Lexi up this morning really early and asked her if she would like to eat some of the new cereal that they picked out at the store.

oh my goodness I was getting short of breath just reading about what you were going through. i'm so happy it went well and that you were able to hold it together yourself. I'll keep praying!
